Huang Weidong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group (CFTEC), introduced that as a key state-owned enterprise under Chongqing Municipality, CFTEC possesses mature international trade channels, excellent resource matching and organizational capabilities. Focusing on two main businesses - import/export trade and supply chain integration services - the group has become one of the leading international trade groups in western China. He emphasized that the group has deeply participated in China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation, having established a solid cooperative foundation with Kazakhstan in areas such as automobile exports and agricultural product imports.

According to reports, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor - Yumaotong Smart Trade Platform is a comprehensive "one-stop" cross-border trade service platform meticulously developed by Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group (CFTEC). This platform integrates multiple functions including a one-stop digital-intelligent marketplace for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, a comprehensive foreign trade service market, and a trade business management system. It features four core capabilities: supply-demand matching, logistics tracking, financial settlement, and policy consultation. The platform aims to establish an end-to-end digital channel for products from the Chengdu-Chongqing region and other areas along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor to "go global", with the mission of efficiently offering "One-Stop Import-Export Services" to enterprises. It strives to achieve "one-click connectivity for global trade" between Chongqing and Kazakhstan through this platform.

Huang Weidong further elaborated on the group's future cooperation plans. He stated that CFTEC would fully leverage its three core strengths - resource integration, financial services, and technological support - to provide comprehensive assistance to Kazakhstani enterprise partners. The group will capitalize on the policy advantages of the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor to establish a "one-stop" cross-border supply chain service platform. Additionally, CFTEC will collaborate with banks and insurance institutions to develop innovative "supply chain finance + forex risk hedging" products, thereby mitigating cooperation risks. Furthermore, the group will utilize big data and AI technologies to enhance trade matching efficiency. and will offer "One-Stop Import-Export Services" online through the Yumaotong Smart Trade Platform.

It is reported that the visiting Kazakhstan economic and trade delegation was led by Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev and comprised 40 enterprises spanning multiple sectors, including bulk commodities, investment design, and medical equipment. This marks the first large-scale Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Delegation to visit Chongqing in nearly two years. The delegation's visit coincides with the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade, with both sides expressing hopes to leverage this opportunity to explore broader trade cooperation prospects.
