The 7th WCIFIT|Charging Efficiency Doubled: Qingling Motors and CATL Jointly Launch New Energy Light Truck Linkun

On May 23 at the 7th WCIFIT, Qingling Motors collaborated with CATL and its subsidiary Synland to unveil their milestone product - the new energy light truck Linkun. This launch signifies Qingling's continued first-mover advantage in the latest round of new energy vehicle technological competition.

According to the introduction, the new energy light truck Linkun, as the latest achievement of Qingling Motors in promoting the integration of "four chains", features six major technological breakthroughs. With ultra-low wind resistance, its streamlined cab design achieves a drag coefficient of 0.33, leading competitors by over 26%. Its high-efficiency power system, equipped with a flat-wire oil-cooled motor, delivers a power density of 7.1kW/kg while reducing energy consumption by 20%. The vehicle adopts a 7-in-1 domain controller for comprehensive intelligent control, significantly enhancing energy management, thermal management efficiency and insulation performance. Breaking through scenario limitations, it offers a maximum range of 500km, meeting intercity high-speed transportation demands in urban clusters like Chengdu-Chongqing, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta regions, and operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -30°C to 60°C, overcoming climatic constraints. It achieves ultra-fast charging, replenishing 60% of energy in just 15 minutes (doubling charging efficiency), and provides industry-leading spaciousness with a high-roof sleeper configuration and the largest standable cabin space in its class. Based on this platform, Qingling plans to launch a full series of Linkun models tailored for diverse scenarios including e-commerce logistics, supermarket distribution, less-than-truckload freight, cold chain logistics, fresh produce delivery, and specialized operations.

At the launch event, Qingling Motors signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CATL. The two parties will collaborate deeply on products, technologies, and business models, leveraging their respective resource advantages to pioneer the deployment of advanced technologies while mutually empowering each other in zero-carbon strategies. They will also strengthen joint brand building, co-marketing, and coordinated global expansion to further enhance the competitiveness of their domestic and international product offerings.

Subsequently, Qingling Motors also signed green logistics ecosystem cooperation agreements with Chongqing Highway Transportation (Group) Co., Ltd., Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Pharmaceutical Group Heping Logistics Co., Ltd., Chongqing Tianyou Dairy Co., Ltd., and DST Car Rental (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. The next phase will focus on expanding application scenarios for intelligent connected new energy commercial vehicles and building an integrated green, efficient, and smart logistics ecosystem encompassing "vehicles, batteries, stations, and cloud platforms".
